In addition, mangoes contain many vitamins and minerals (high in iron, vitamin A, vitamin E, and selenium). To top it off, mangoes also contain tryptophan which will help you get a good night sleep. Tasty and healthy! You can’t go wrong with this smoothie.

Ingredients
1 mango, cut into chunks
2 cups seedless watermelon
1 cup vanilla milk
1/4 cup sugar
6 ice cubes

Directions
Blend ingredients until you have a smooth consistency. Serve immediately. Serves two.

¼ cup melon
¼ cup yogurt
¼ cup pineapple juice

Ingredients
2 cups seeded watermelon chunks
5 ice cubes
½ cup plain yogurt
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon almond extract

Directions
Blend ingredients until you have a smooth consistency. Serve immediately. Serves two.

Cantaloupe has rich flavor, a minimal number of calories and they contain many healthy vitamins(a good combination for a smoothie). Give this recipe a try. Did you know the cantaloupe derives its name from the Italian papal village of Cantaloupe, where it was first cultivated around 1700 A.D.?

1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
